What we collect

Account data: email and password hash (we never store plaintext passwords), company name, industry.
Merchant catalog + order data: product images/text you submit for classification, SKUs, HTS codes, order line items (including destination country and value) you import or connect via Shopify.
Import entry data: CBP entry / ACE import-history you upload for drawback (entry numbers, HTS, units, value, duty paid).
Usage + billing: events (classify, estimate, purchase), credit ledger, Stripe customer/session identifiers. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.

How we use it

To provide the service: classify products, estimate duty/VAT, compute drawback, generate documents, and operate billing. We process product images with the Anthropic (Claude) API solely to return a classification; we do not use your data to train cross-customer models.

Sub-processors

Anthropic — AI classification (product images/text).
Stripe — payments.

USITC — public HTS tariff data (we send no merchant data; we only read the public schedule).

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data with the sub-processors above to run the service, and only as needed. If you opt into a drawback broker handoff, we share the specific claim package you authorize.

Retention & deletion

We retain account and transaction data while your account is active. You may request export or deletion at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. For Shopify installs we honor the mandatory customers/redact and shop/redact requests automatically.
